Alone with God

O Lord, all my longing is known to you, my sighing is not hidden from you.  Psalm 38:9

Do you know that Our Lord knows everything about you?  He knows all your desires and all your pains.  He even knows when you sigh.  He knows every hair on your head, and He knew you even in your mother’s womb. He sees you when you are crying and He sees you when you are laughing.  Is there anyone on this earth, present or past that knows you that intimately?  Do you even know yourself that well?  How awesome is that!?! Our God is watching you constantly, He has his eye upon you.  The revelation of this is so powerful, that if you are ever feeling alone, know that it is an attack of the enemy to separate you from the love of Our, wonderful Savior! If you have not tasted the love and warmt of Jesus, then cry out to Him.  He is waiting.

If, at times, you find yourself alone, it may be that Our Lord is wanting to spend time alone with YOU!  Allow Him to fill you with His Love and comfort. The first time this revelation came to me, was when I found myself alone at a Christian Women’s conference with over 3000 women, and no one to go to lunch with. I went alone, but soon, realized that I was not alone, but that Jesus was with me. It was the most wonderful lunch! I was the center of attention.  I was able to choose anything on the menu, and totally free to dwell on myself because He was so attentive! I imagine the waitress and the people around me were curious at the joy I exuded.

Enjoy and savor the times that you are alone knowing those are the precious moments that God has chosen to spend with you.

Fitness Tip:
Develop healthy eating habits. Eat more frequently, four to five times a day, and never skip breakfast.  Something I read recently that jumped out at me was to remember to eat 25% of you food intake at breakfast, 75% at lunch and 25% at dinner without counting snacks.  Eating every few hours maintains your energy level and keeps metabolism at a maximum.

Blessings,

Pat
